Kayak Coeur d’Alene, SUP & Float Tube Rentals

Kayak Coeur d’Alene, formerly a retail sales and rental shop, is now strictly a rental delivery service for your Kayak and Paddle Board needs. We deliver conveniently from our two designated loading zone locations, for easy lake access, along the Northwest corner of Lake Coeur d’Alene.

Where to find us, in the spring and early summer, we will meet you with your rental equipment on the beach by Hubbard Street Park near the SE corner of North Idaho College campus. In later summer when the lake water level stabilizes, we are at the NW corner of the NIC campus along River Ave where the lake flows into the Spokane River. The rental equipment will be at the beach access point below our loading zones. Your confirmation email will include the location we are using for the day. 

Free Parking is available close to our lake access points. There is ample parking in the North Idaho College public parking lots near the beach, and you can also find limited spots along the lake road.

Other delivery options are available to accommodate your paddling needs on the water at your lake home, vacation rental, or Airbnb. We will happily deliver to your specified location around the local area for a nominal service fee.

When are we open, Kayak CdA rents kayaks, stand up paddle boards and float tubes, seven days a week, 9am to 5pm from May through September. We may be closed due to weather conditions and when limited beach access occurs during the Ironman event in June and during the July 4th celebration.

Rental Requirements

• Renters are responsible for the full replacement value of any equipment damaged or lost and must sign a rental agreement with waiver for release of liability.
• Kayaks and SUPs may be transported to other water locations with approval.
• Kayaks and SUPs must be carried on appropriate rack systems, we will provide complimentary foam blocks and straps when applicable.
• Rental kayaks and SUPs are not to be used on rivers unless approved by a Kayak CDA representative.
